Printing at the Genesee District Library

Mobile Printing

You can send print jobs to any Genesee District Library branch from your phone, home computer, or any other device of your choosing. Once you submit a file to print, they will stay in the queue for 24 hours. There are three ways in which you can send print jobs, detailed below.

Print From Website

  1. Visit the print job submission page by clicking here, or the button at the top of the page.
  2. Submit the file you want to print.
  3. Select your printing preferences.
  4. In the required field, insert a unique code that will be used to identify your print job, such as your name, library card number, or another unique identifier.
  5. If you want to receive a confirmation email or text, enter your email address or phone number.
  6. Visit the desk at any Genesee District Library branch and ask a staff member to print your document.

Print From Email

To print an email message or attachments, forward your email to [email protected]. You will receive an automated response informing you that your email was received. This email will include a release code. Then visit any branch of the Genesee District Library and provide a staff member with your release code and they will print your document for you.

Costs

  • The GDL gives you 50 cents each day to use for printing at our library branches. This money is not cumulative, and resets at the end of each day.
  • Once you use your 5 free pages of printing, you can purchase more pages by adding money to your account at ten cents per page. There are no refunds available for accidental prints or unused printing value.
  • Bring cash to the library and staff members can add the money to your account balance.
  • The money that you add to your account will not expire.
